Uranus will lie opposite to the sun in the sky. We will able to find Uranus in the constellation Aries. It also makes it closest approach to the earth known as perigee. From Mumbai, it will visible from around 7:33 PM, 20 Degrees above eastern horizon and visible until around 5:10 AM in the morning.
7 November
67P/Churyumov-Gerasimenko reaches its brightest
67P/Churyumov-Gerasimenko is the name of the comet. It is expected to reach at its brightest on 7 November. We can spot this comet in the constellation Gemini. It will lie at a distance of 1.21 AU from the sun and at a distance of 0.42 AU from the earth.
8 November
Conjunction of moon and venus
In the constellation of Sagittarius, The Moon and Venus will share same right ascension. The Moon passing 1 Degree 6 Minutes to the north of Venus. Also, both objects will make a closest approach to each other. From Mumbai, the conjunction is visible around 6:19 PM, 29 degrees above south-western horizon. The Venus will be at magnitude -4.5 and Moon at -10.8.
Lunar occultation of venus
The event where the moon will pass in front of Venus, is known as Lunar occultation of Venus. Sagittarius is the constellation where this occultation will be happening. This event is only visible from small parts of eastern Asia. From Mumbai, no occultation will be visible.

Conjunction of moon and saturn
The Moon and Saturn will share same right ascension. The Moon passing 4 Degrees 6 Minute to the south of the Saturn. Also, both the objects will make close approach called as appulse. The conjunction will take place in constellation Capricornus. The moon will be at magnitude -11.7 and Saturn at magnitude 0.4. From Mumbai, the conjunction will be visible around at 6:15 PM, 51 Degrees above southern horizon.
11 November
Conjunction of moon and jupiter
In the constellation of Capricornus, the Moon and Jupiter will share same right ascension. The Moon passing 4 Degrees 21 Minute to the south of the Jupiter. The moon will be at Magnitude of -12 and Jupiter at -2.4. From Mumbai, the conjunction will be visible from around 6:15, 54 Degrees above southern horizon. The conjunction will continue to observable until 12:02 AM.
12 November
Northern Taurid meteor shower
The northern Taurid meteor shower will be active from 20 October to 10 December. The shower expected to produce meteor at peak rate on 12 November. The Radiant point is lies in the constellation Taurus. The shower expected to produce 5 meteor per hour during its peak. From Mumbai, the shower will visible from 6:34 PM, when its radiant point rises high in eastern horizon. The shower will remain active until dawn breaks.
17 November
Leonid meteor shower
This meteor shower is active between 6 November to 30 November, and will produce at its peak rate on 17 November. During its peak, the Leonid meteor shower expected to produce 15 meteor per hour. The radiant point is in the constellation Leo. From Mumbai, the meteor shower will visible from around 12:30 AM, when its radiant point rises above eastern horizon. it will remain active until 6:30 AM in the morning.

Partial lunar eclipse
When only a small part of Moon enters in the earth’s shadow, is known as partial lunar eclipse. On 19 November, the moon will pass through earth shadow between 11:33 PM to 4:26 AM, creating partial lunar eclipse. The eclipse will begin at 11:33 PM. At 11:33 the Moon begins to enter the Earth’s penumbra. At 12:50 Am, the moon begins to enters the earth’s umbra region. At this point partial eclipse begins. At 4:18 the Moon fully outside the earth’s umbra and eclipse ends. This partial lunar eclipse is visible in Oceania, the Americas, eastern Asia, Northern Europe and Indonesia. The eclipse is not visible from Mumbai, because of the moon will be beneath the horizon at that time.
Beaver moon
Beaver builds their dams during this time of the year. Therefore, the November full moon is known as Beaver Moon. The full moon will shine near the constellation Taurus and Aries.

Orionid meteor shower
In the constellation of Orion, the Orionid meteor shower will be active from 13 November to 6 December. The shower will be on its peak on 28 November. During peak, it is expected to produce 3 meteors per hour. From Mumbai, the shower will accessible around 7:51 PM, when its radiant point rises above eastern horizon. It will remain active until dawn breaks down.
29 November
Mercury at superior solar conjunction
The planet Mercury will pass close to the sun. During this, its orbit carries it around the far side of the solar system from the earth. At closest approach, mercury will appear at a separation of only 0 Degrees 43 Minutes from the sun. Due to this, it lost in the sun’s glare and unobservable for several weeks. The sun and mercury both will lie in the constellation Scorpius.
